COMPANY HISTORY

Since 1986, AW Johnson & Associates has been dedicated in serving commercial manufacturers, fabricators, contractors, owners, and our government. We have over 200 satisfied customers that can attest to our expertise.

Our company has worked with government programs as a prime contractor and subcontractor. We are classified as a women owned and managed business.

We have an ongoing relationship with the U.S. Navy since 1987. The Navy has asked us to provide input on the Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) vehicle, Small Boats and Craft, and the Special Warfare projects. Below are some of the projects we have completed:

design investigation and analysis for craft structural improvements,
problem solving in manufacturing and design,
authorized government representative for repair and replacements,
developed specification for building aluminum boats and craft,
developed manuals for welding and quality,
developed welding training program (LCAC and Special Boats),
assisted in government inspections for Final Contract Trials,
provided technical assistance for mid-life planning and overhaul,
managed extensive repair of damaged craft - received accommodation from the commanding officer,
participated in contractor and subcontractor audits,
provided offshore welder training for repairs.
